Bridges vs. implants: what's the difference?
A dental bridge literally bridges the gap where one or more teeth are missing. We anchor a custom-made replacement tooth (or teeth) to the healthy ones next to it, so you can chew, speak, and smile like nothing ever happened.
It’s fixed — meaning it stays put — and it’s built to match your other teeth perfectly. No one will ever know it’s not real. (Unless you show them. You totally can. It’s kind of impressive.)
Implants involve surgery and are anchored into the jawbone - great, but not for everyone. Bridges use the teeth you already have for support - no surgery, faster recovery, and still a natural look and feel. If you’re not a candidate for implants or just don’t want one, bridges are a legit, long-lasting solution.

Here's why you might need a bridge
- You’re missing one or more teeth in a row
- You’re tired of food getting stuck in that empty space
- You want a fixed option (not a denture)
- You’re not into the idea of dental implants
- Your face shape is starting to change from tooth loss (yes, that happens)
