What does fluoride actually do?
Fluoride helps remineralize your enamel — aka, it strengthens your teeth and helps reverse the early stages of tooth decay before it turns into a full-blown filling situation.
It also helps reduce sensitivity, especially around the gumline or after whitening, and protects your teeth from bacteria and acid wear (aka life).
Do I need more of it?
Probably. Here’s the thing - most of us aren’t getting enough from toothpaste alone. Diet, stress, acid reflux, and even medications can weaken enamel. And once it’s gone, you can’t just grow it back.
Fluoride treatments are fast, painless, and ridiculously effective at helping you not end up with surprise fillings next year.

Here's why you might want fluoride
- You’re prone to cavities or have early-stage decay
- You’ve got sensitive teeth that flinch at cold drinks
- You wear aligners or braces (aka plaque traps)
- You’ve had a lot of dental work and want to protect it
- You just want one less thing to worry about with your teeth
