Because “fun” isn’t the word most parents use for dentist visits.

Let’s be real: getting your kid to the dentist can feel like preparing for battle. There’s anxiety, resistance, tears (sometimes theirs, sometimes yours), and maybe even flashbacks to your own childhood dental trauma.

Here’s the good news: we’re not that kind of clinic.

We’re not magicians (though stickers and sunglasses help), but we do understand how to build trust with littles — and how to make the dentist feel safe, fun(ish), and shame-free.

Whether it’s their first visit ever or they’ve had a rough one before, we’re here to help them build positive dental habits without the fear-based tactics or white-knuckled car rides.

Healthy habits start early

We make dental care make sense for kids — and easy for you.

Positive first visits mean less dental anxiety later

The earlier they feel safe, the less they’ll fear the chair long-term.

Prevent problems before they start

Regular checkups catch little issues early — so you’re not dealing with big ones later.

What ages do we see?

From their very first baby tooth to their very first braces consult — we’ve got them. We typically start seeing kids around 1 year old (yep, really), and continue supporting them right through their teenage years.

As a parent, if any of the below resonate - you should call us.

  • Worried your kid’s behavior will be “too much”? It won’t. We’ve seen it all.
  • Think you waited too long to bring them in? You didn’t. We’ll never shame you.
  • Scared because you had a bad dental experience as a kid? Same. That’s why we do things differently now.

What we help children with

  • First dental visits / dental milestones
  • Cleanings + gentle checkups
  • Cavity prevention + fluoride treatments
  • Fillings + treatment plans (with options for sedation if needed)
  • Thumb sucking / pacifier habits
  • Talking to parents like humans, not robots

How it works

1

Book the visit — even if your kid is “in a phase”.

2

Come as you are (snacks, stuffies, and chaos welcome).

3

We explain, clean, check, and chat.

You leave with peace of mind and a kid who’s still smiling.

No creepy puppets or forced “fun” — just a calm, friendly space where kids feel respected and safe.
Our team has the patience (and the metaphors) to make dental care click with kids.
No loud TVs, no plastic toy overload — just warm energy, kind people, and a stress-free environment for parents and kids.
We help your kid avoid future problems with gentle cleanings, and a trauma-free experience.

Happily, our patients
love this unique approach.

My experience has been stress-free and excellent.

Everyone has been fully engaged with me as the patient. My oral health was their primary concern and ensuring I understood the plan to fix my issues as well as ensuring my concerns were heard and dealt with.

This has been my dental clinic for years, and their service is still top-notch.

Dr. Sandhu is amazing! She’s our family dentist and always so welcoming to her clients. All the hygienists are excellent at what they do and know how to make the experience more comfortable.

The staff make you feel comfortable & they walk you through your treatments. Very gentle. I go in with anxiety especially when it comes to needles. It's always a calm and pleasant visit.

Couldn't recommend the staff more!

Just had my wisdom teeth removed by doctor Ni and the amazing staff at Dental at the Met and couldn’t be happier (considering the procedure)! I felt well informed and despite having some complicated teeth I feel like I was handled with care.
